Por fin hemos terminado la tabla que había empezado a hacer con Edu [Monster surfboards]
Se trata de un modelo muy similar al Killer Goose de Wat Say, pero con un poco más de volumen en el nose y los wingers más marcados.
Probablemente no tenga tanta línea ni aguante el mismo tamaño pero sea más rápida y propicia para loa aéreos.
La historia de la tabla empezó cuando me empeñé en shapear mi propio modelo, ya que se supone que eso es algo que todo surfer debe hacer... Y una mierda. Shapear a mano desde el principio es difícil, trabajoso y sucio.
Una y no más. Pero como experiencia ha estado muy bien para saber apreciar y valorar en su justa medida el trabajo de un shaper.
La tabla ha sido shapeada por mí a partir de un foam sin cortar y glaseada y lijada por Edu, quien ha estado ayudando y aconsejando en todo momento y sin el cual esta tabla sería ahora un truño amorfo.
No será una tabla de diario y que vaya bien o mal es lo de menos porque, en realidad, se trata de un tesoro hecho entre amigos, terminado entre risas y dedicado a un abuelo.

Finally... We´ve made it! The board that I was doing with Edu [Monster surfboards] is ready.
It's the same kind of board than the Wat Say's Killer Goose but a little more wide in the nose and with a couple of stronger wingers.
Probably this new one will be better for airs and speed surfing than drawing lines on big walls.
The story of this board begin a year ago when I talked to Edu about shaped my ownboard by myself. This is the goal of every surfer but.... Shit. Shaped boards [without machine] is tedious and dirty. I hated it!! So this board will be my first and last one at the same time.
Anyway. It has been a great experience that helped me to realice the hard work of a shaper. Make a good board is far to be an easy job.
The board has been shaped by myself without pre shape and It was glassed by Edu, who has been close to me every moment: thanx for your support and help!! In fact, Edu is the master behind the board because if He wouldn't be there with me.... This board would be a big piece of white shit right now.
This won't be a daily board. Probably It will not work as the other Wat Say models but I don't care because It's a treasure made by friends, the result of many good moments and in memory of my grandpa.
