"El fantasma de Canterville" es una historia corta del genial Oscar Wilde. Trata sobre un viejo caserón en el que habita el fantasma de un antiguo señor que se resiste a abandonar su hogar.
Hasta la fecha su terrorífica reputación resulta efectiva ya que éste puede campar a sus anchas por la casa. Pero todo cambia cuando llega a vivir una nueva familia americana que no solo no temerá al fantasma sino que acabará asusntándolo él mismo con su escepticismo y las constantes burlas fruto de esa nueva visón de la vida moderna ajena a supersticiones y mitos.
Humor negro y una crítica social social descarada al nuevo mundo.

Inspiration
"The Canterville ghost" is a short tale by Oscar Wilde. It talks about an old ghost who lives in the same castle since long time and His goal is keep this space for himself.
This ghost is a kind of terrorific legend, that's why nobody wants to be near than this place and He still living as the lord of the castle. But everything changes when a new family arrives from America. That people doesn't believe in legends and nothing scares them.
They represent a new world and a new way of life: the material belongings are the most important thing.
The ghost will try to frighten the new tenants but He doesn't success. Ironically, the kids and the new members change the ghost's life into a nightmare 'cause they don't respect him and they laught at the old terror stories which represent the tradition [England]
