Todos han oído hablar de él aunque nadie le conoce.
Es la pérdida de la inocencia, el paso del refinado S. XIX al violento S.XX, el primer asesino en serie de la historia: Jack "El destripador".
A cerca de su identidad hay un montón de hipótesis como la de que fue un sádico médico de la realeza, una conspiración masónica para dejar en evidencia la seguridad nacional, una conspiración aristocrática para acabar con las putas que sabían lo mucho que le gustaba ir al hijo de la reina Victoria de pendoneo o incluso la de que Jack fue una medida adoptada por el propio gobierno para atemorizar y mantener en raya los estratos más bajos de la sociedad. Ni se sabe ni se sabrá.
Una de las más firmes hipótesis, por la cronología y los sucesos, es la de un médico marinero del cual la tripulación afirmaba que estaba tarumba y gustaba de diseccionar y "jugar" con los nimales que cazaba durante las travesías. A las dos semanas de atracar en Londres tuvo lugar el primer asesinato y así siguieron ocurriendo sucesivamente hasta que volvió a zarpar y no hubo más rastro putas degolladas. ¿Coincidencia? El caso es que el barco puso rumbo a Costa Rica y (a quí viene la baza de la hipótesis, que además es prácticamente desconocida) una vez en tierra la tripulación volvieron a tener lugar en la isla otros 5 asesinatos de idénticas características a los cometidos en Londres.

There are tons of hypothesis about his identity. One of them says that Jack was the royalty doctor, another one suggests that everything was a masonic conspiration to prove the insecurity of the streets. A third hypothesis afirms that the murders were committed by an aristochratic conspiration to wanted keep a secret: Queen's Victoria son loves whores and even there is another one which says that the goverment killed the bitches to control and intimidate the low class. Nobody knows and nobody will do.
One of the most stable options (chronologically and circumstantial) talks about a sailor/doctor who was crazy and liked to kill animals and "play" with their bodys. The murders began a couple of weeks after that man had arrived to London and they finished in the same period he left the city. ¿Is it a coincidence?
The most awesome thing is that the ship were to Costa Rica where another 5 similar murders happened during the crew's stay.
